Teenager arrested for Murder of Railway Training student

A 19-year-old teenager along with his accomplice was arrested by the Ambamata police today, therein solving the murder mystery of another teenager, Mahendra.

 

A 19-year-old teenager along with his accomplice was arrested by the Ambamata police today, therein solving the murder mystery of another teenager, Mahendra.

As per Police, Harish Nayak who stays near the deceased house, accepted having murdered Mahendra after he and his accomplice, another minor, sexually assaulted Mahendra and in order to hide their crime, killed him

“After their detention on suspicion by Ambamata Police, both the accused accepted their crime in the initial investigation”, as per SHO.

The tragic incidence came to light on Saturday, when the deceased’s father informed Police Station that his son’s dead body was lying in Pulla drainage under  mysterious circumstances, with his face completely damaged. Police rushed to the scene and after the verification, sent the body to the mortuary.

The deceased boy was a student at Railway Training School and was reported lost since Friday evening.

Accused  Harish Nayak was booked under sections 302,377,201,34 of IPC as well as under sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 along with his minor accomplice.
