An incidence of theft was reported at a house located in Ambamata scheme. The incident took place 2 days ago.

According to the report, Jitdendra Singh, the victim of the crime, was robbed of Rs.17000 cash and jewelry, including those made of gold and silver.

The theft had taken place at a time when the owner was not in his residence. On his return at 11 pm, Singh found the contents of the home scattered across the ground. The thieves are thought to have entered the house through a window.

Ambamata Police have started their investigation into the matter.
