Cash and 9 Silver Chattars were stolen from the Digamber Jain Temple situated at Jagat village, Kurabad area of Udaipur sometime last night.

The theft came to light today morning, when the woman priest of the temple, Babli Bai reached the site and found a big hole in one of the walls and a broken window. Rs.10,000 cash and 9 silver Chattars were found missing from the temple.

Babli bai immediately informed the representatives of the temple committee, as per police.

This is the second incidence of theft at a Digambar Jain Tempe as last week, thieves stole Silver Chattars from a Digambar Jain temple situated at Nokha village under the Hiran Magri police station circle.
