The Gurdwara Arjan Darbar, situated at sector 11 of Goverdhan Vilas was targeted by thieves on 29th November. The accused stole few articles and cash from the Gurdwara.

Paramjeet Singh, president of Gurdwara committee informed the police about the theft which came in light next morning when he reached the Gurdwara and found the main gate left open. Upon entering inside, he found the LCD TV from the hall and Rs. 11000 from the almirah were missing, as per the information by Hemaram, investigating officer.

Shocked by the theft, Paramjeet called the police at the Gurdwara and an FIR was lodged. In the preliminary investigation, it was found that one CCTV camera was destroyed by the culprits. However, footage from the other CCTV camera installed in the premises is under scrutiny. The police is trying to collect more information of the mishap, said Hemaram.
