A case of theft was registered yesterday at Ambamata Police Station by a resident of Rata Khet. The incident, which occurred on 4th June, took place in the house of the complainant, Mehboob Ali. As per the report, he had gone to attend a function at a relatives place in the evening on 4th June. When he returned home the same night, he found the lock on the main gate of his house broken. His house was ransacked and things were lying scattered on the floor. He has reported a few ornaments missing from his house. The Police have registered the case and are investigating the matter.
