Suspected thieves stole ornaments worth lacs of rupees from a house at sector 5 Hiran Magri.

The theft took place while the house owner and his family were out of the city. The family got information about the mishap through their neigihbors who called them after noticing the main gate of the house open.

The accused broke in the house from the main gate and took away 33 silver coins, 1 silver idol, 1 gold mangalsutra and Rs.35000 cash. The victim lodged complaint after they reached Udaipur last night.
