Valuables like gold and silver ornaments, electronic appliances and cash Rs.1.5 Lac were reportedly stolen from a house at sector-5, Gayatri Nagar.

The incident of theft was discovered yesterday, when the owner of the house Manoharlal Mathur returned back from Mumbai. He was informed by a neighbor who got suspicious seeing the main door of Mathur’s house lying open.

Hiran Magri Police has been informed about the theft and the investigation has been started.

According to Police, Mathur was out of Udaipur since Dec 6th. His neighbor called him on 22^nd Dec after noticing the main door of the house was open. Manoharlal rushed to Udaipur and discovered that jewelries, cash and electronic appliances were stolen from the house.
