Two more incidents of thefts were reported in the city yesterday. Rs. 76000 cash and jewelry worth Lacs of rupees were stolen from two houses at Goverdhan Vilas Police Station area.

The first incident occurred at the house of Ramesh Chandra, resident of sector 11. Thieves stole Rs.46000 cash and silver and gold ornaments worth lacs of rupees. According to the report given by Ramesh, the theft occurred when he went somewhere leaving his house unattended.

Another incident was reported from Satyam Towers, Balicha where thieves stole Rs.30000 cash and 10 tola of Gold from the house of Raj Laxmi Sahu. At the time of incident, the family was out of the city.
