Theft in 2 shops at Surajpol
Suspected thieves stole 30 mobiles phones, 2 tablet phones and 4 cameras from two adjoining shops at Surajpol area last night. The accused also broke CCTV camera installed in the shop to wipe out all evidence.
Suspected thieves stole 30 mobiles phones, 2 tablet phones and 4 cameras from two adjoining shops at Surajpol area last night. The accused also broke CCTV camera installed in the shop to wipe out all evidence.
Shopkeeper Rajkumar Malchandani, resident of Jawahar Nagar owns two shops (mobile phone and photo studio) at Surajpol area. Malchandani informed police that he discovered the theft today morning when he came to his shops and found the shutters left opened and a part of wall was broken.
35 mobile phones, 4 SLR and digital cameras and 2 tablet phones were found missing. The CCTV cameras were also found broken in the shops. The victim has lodged report at Surajpol Police Station.
Malchandani informed, “My shops have been targeted by thieves several times in past. Even after taking security measures, I faced loss.”
