Another temple of the city was targeted by the thieves last night. Several silver ornaments and other precious items were stolen from the Temple of Char Bhuja, situated at Dhan Mandi area.

According to police, the theft came in light today morning when the priest Rajmal Mundra came to the temple and noticed that silver ornaments adorned on the Idol, a chakra and a sword kept near the idol were found missing.

Mundra who is also a caretaker of the temple rushed to the nearby police station and lodged the report.

“The case has been registered and investigation has also started. We have rounded up few suspects and interrogating them” said a police officer investigating the case.
