Suspected thieves ransacked the house of Mitthulal Pokharna, located at 347, Chankyapuri, Sector-4, while Pokharna is out of the city with his family. Today, neighbors informed Pokharna’s grandson Mayank, when they noticed the main gate was left open.

Hiran Magri Police responded the residence and started investigation. According to sources, a gold statue of God , some amount of cash kept near the Gold Statue , Rs.20,000 cash from one of the Almira and around Rs. 30,000 from a suit case kept at the store room  and few pair of small gold ear rings are missing.

According to the grandson of Mitthulal Pokharna, Mayank who resides at Bedla, he got the call from the neighbor of his grandfather that their house is open; on this, Mayank rushed to the house and saw that everything is left spread in the two storey house of his grandfather.

Police suspects that thieves might have entered from the terrace and then get into four rooms. Cupboards were break opened and things were spread all over the house and electronic items including TV and other things were destroyed. Mitthulal lives with his wife and son Ramesh Pokharna and is on a medical trip to Mumbai.
