In a report lodged at the Surajpol Police Station, a theft was reported in one of the quarters at Police Lines today.

According to the Police, Ramesh Meena, Constable at Police Lines was on leave and went to his village for some personal work.  On his return today, he found that thieves broke into his quarter and stole 2 LPG Gas Cylinders.

Ramesh has his quarters at Police Lines area.  The mishap eventually points out that not even the colony of Police families is safe, let alone the city.

Many may also see this as a result of the hike in LPG, which makes these cylinders more valuable and puts them in a category of assets to be saved from roaming eyes.

Police have lodged the case and are looking into the matter.
