An incident of theft has been reported from Polo Ground residence on 2^nd Sept. Suspected thieves stole gold and silver ornaments and Rs.80000 cash from the house of Mohanlal, who is presently residing in Mumbai with his family.

The house was under the care of a watchman. On the night of incident, the watchman left the house unattended which gave a chance to the thieves.

After returning back next morning, the watchman discovered the theft and informed Mohanlal over phone. The owner lodged complaint at Ambamata Police Station.
