Two different cases of thefts were reported at Surajpol area. Thieves stole expensive mobiles and electronic items, cash and a gold coin from one shop. In another incident, the accused was caught by the shopkeeper while he was allegedly stealing a mobile phone from his shop.

Ravindra Kalra, owner of Best Electronics, Surajpol said that thieves stole 6 cameras, 1 tablet phone, 1 mobile phone, Rs.1500 cash and a gold coin from his shop.

Kalra informed that the suspected thieves entered the shop from the roof. He discovered the theft on Friday morning.

The other incident took place on Friday evening. A man was caught from a mobile shop situated at Surajpol near Udaipur Hotel, where he was allegedly trying to steal a mobile phone. The shop owner noticed suspicious activities by the accused and caught him. He handed the accused to police.
