Thieves looted cash and ornaments worth lacs of rupees from a house at Navaratan Complex. The incident took place today morning when the house owner went out for some work.

Victim Prem Kunwar Rajawat, resident of Navaratan Complex informed that she and her daughter live in the house alone.

Today early in the morning at around 3.10, Prem Kunwar’s daughter felt ill and she was rushed to Mewar Hospital.  At around 8.45am, both of them returned home and discovered the theft.

The house was lying open and everything was scattered on the floor. According to Prem Kunwar, Gold and Silver ornaments worth Rs.2.5 Lacs and Rs.35000 cash were missing.

Sukher Police was informed about the mishap and the report was lodged and the investigation has started.

Prem Kunwar doubted her domestic help who recently started working in their house. She also said that a sword was found from their bedroom.
