A mobile shop located opposite the Hiran Magri police station was looted yesterday evening. A number of mobile phones, a large amount of cash and other electronic items were from the shop when the owner opened shop today morning.

The thieves targeted the Liberty Mobile Shop shop owned by Vinod Menaria later last night. They seemingly entered in the shop using the ventilator situated above the rear entrance of the shop. Mobiles and electronics priced at around Rs. 2,00,000, Rs. 50,000 cash, a woofer costing Rs. 20,000 and Memory cards worth Rs. 50,000 were discovered missing when the owner opened shop today morning at 9am.

As per Vinod, when he he entered his shop he noticed that the back gate of the shop was broken from its top & computer and a priniter was lying broken.

Vinod also added that he had purchased a large number of memory cards with an intension to earn profit as the rates of the memory cards are going to increase in the near future.

The most shocking thing is that the thieves dared to steal items and cash from a shop situated just opposite the police station.

The report of theft had been given to police and the investigation has been started.
