The Limbaja Mata Temple situated at Gangaur Ghat witnessed a theft early this morning. The lost pieces included silver plated ornaments that adorned the statue of the goddess. The theft came to light when the priest, Basantilal Jethi came back to the temple and noticed the mishap. He immediately lodged an FIR at the police station.

As per the police, Basantilal, the priest of the Limba Mata temple had offered prayers in the morning and went to the nearby temple for some work. When he returned, the ornaments including Chattars, Trishul and other traditional articles worn by the goddess were missing.

After the information received by the priest, the Ghanta Ghar police rushed to the scene and started the investigation.
