Theft worth Rs. 2 lac in Hiran Magri

Burglars in the town have scored another theft worth Rs 2 Lac from a house in Vidhyanagar, Sec-5, Hiran Magri that was reported at the Hiran Magri Police Station yesterday evening.

 

The Hiran Magri Police Station registered a case of theft of articles, cash and jewelry worth Rs. Two Lac from a house in Vindhyanagar, Sector-5, Hiran Magri, yesterday evening.

According to the Police, the house owner, Rajendra Ram Tak has recently retired as a Professor from the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE), Udaipur. Rajendra, along with his family, had been out of town to visit his parents at Jaipur.  On his return in the evening yesterday, he discovered the main gate to be locked from the inside.

The family then forcefully opened the gate and found an Almira in the house to be wide open.  The thieves supposedly entered the house through a framed roof opening of the house and looted 4 Silver Glasses, 4 Silver Chains, Silver Coins, a Silver Anklet, One Desktop, One LCD, Rs. 40,000 in cash and some Gold ornaments.

The Police have started an investigation on the case.
