A Thief-Police run resulted in the thief being sent to jail for stealing a meager Rs.200 from an automobile shop at Ashwini Bazar. The incident of petty burglary took an interesting turn when the thief who is believed to be a drug addict forgot his motorcycle outside the shop he looted the money from.

This interesting incident occurred at Rajasthan Automobiles, owned by Ranjeet Bapna at Ashwini Bazar. While Bapna was busy at work, the thief came inside the shop, stole Rs.200 from the cash box and ran away. However, in the rush he forgot to take his bike which was parked just outside the shop.

Bapna noticed the bike lying outside his shop and informed the police about it. The Dhanmandi Police took the bike at the Police Station.

After a few hours, the thief who came to know about his motorbike, dared to get back his bike from police station compound but was noticed by a police constable.

After a 500 meter run, the constables finally grabbed the thief, identified as Vajid Mohammad and he was sent to judicial custody.
