In a case of theft registered today, thieves targeted a shop at Indraprasth Complex, Delhi Gate and stole Rs. 50,000 in cash, three Mobile Phones and also damaged few laptops in an outlet of HCL Pvt. Ltd.

As per Pradeep Grover, owner of the Shop, “The accused entered the shop via the vent of air conditioner and stole Rs. 50,000 in cash from the drawer of the counter. They also took three Nokia mobile phones worth Rs. 8,000 each and scattered everything on the floor while exiting through the same vent.”

“Possibly, while the thieves were entering through vent, the AC fell down and few of the laptops were also damaged,” he added.

Pradeep informed that, he closed his shop last night at around 8.30 PM and today morning at around 10.30 AM he was informed about the theft by Anil Siroya, one of his staff members.

The thieves also attempted to steal more things from the nearby office using the same way of entering, owned by advocate Sushil. But they did not get any valuable items there except papers and documents, so they fled from the scene without stealing anything, as informed by Advocate Sushil.

Victims have informed the Bhopalpura police station and have given a report of theft. Police is investigating the case.
