Shocking for the police department of Udaipur, a group of suspected thieves broke open a sub-inspector’s house located at Police Line and swept-off the gold and silver ornaments, LCD tv and Rs. 10 thousand cash.

Victim house owner Mukesh Meghwal, originally resident of Jhalor district is a trainee sub-inspector with Rajasthan Police, he was out of the city with his family since 9th Jan for official work in Jaipur. The theft came to light yesterday, when the neighbor Bindia (Sub inspector, Crime Branch) saw the house of Mukesh open, on this; she called Mukesh on phone to find out if he returned back.

After learning that Mukesh is still at Jaipur, Bindia entered in the house and found everything was ransacked and scattered all over the floor. She understood the whole incident and informed Mukesh about the theft.

An FIR has been lodged at Surajpol Police Station by Mukesh, who rushed back to Udaipur yesterday.

According to report, Gold and Silver ornaments worth several lacs, a LCD tv and Cash rupees 10000 have been found missing, police has registered a case and started the investigation.
