A group of suspected thieves stole cash and jewelries from two neighboring houses in Tekri area. The report is lodged at Surajpol Police Station.

According to police, the first incident occurred at Rajkumar Menaria’s residence. Thieves entered the house through terrace and stole jewelries worth thousands of rupees. The jewelry box was found lying on the terrace.

In another incident that took place in the neighboring house of Kailash Bihari, thieves entered the house through a window of a room situated on the 1^st floor. Bihari informed that gold ornaments and Rs. 14,000 cash was stolen from his house.

Surajpol Police has started the investigation.
