Suspected thieves stole thousands of rupees cash and silver ornaments from three business firms at Madri Industrial Area last night.

Two transport firms PRL Transport and Laxmi Transport and a soft stone factory was targeted by thieves.

According to police, the accused first broke into PRL transport and stole 4 silver coins, 4 titan watches and Rs.5000 cash. They then broke the shutter of Laxmi Transport and stole 2.5 kg silver items, Rs.5000 cash and few important documents.

The thieves also stole an iron rod and hammer from a soft stone factory Mahaveer Minerals but surprisingly the stolen iron road and hammer were found lying out a temple situated nearby.

The theft came to light today morning when the owners Babulal Prajapat of PRL transport and Suresh Jain of Laxmi Transport came to their shops. The report of theft is lodged at Pratap nagar police station.
