It seems cash and belongings kept in cars have become an easy target for thieves in the city as another car parked at Bhopalpura area was subjected to theft yesterday afternoon.

Rs.80000 cash, a Samsung Tablet, a Mobile Phone, Bank Cheque Book and some valuable documents were stolen from the car of Rajendra Singh Bhati. The incident took place near Chetna Dental Clinic when Bhati went to see the dentist while the car was parked outside the clinic.

Bhati, resident of Panchwati when returned to his car, he discovered that one of the car gates was opened forcefully and a suitcase containing cash and other belongings were missing.

Just two days before on 7^th Oct, thieves robbed Rs.8 Lac cash from a car parked outside a hotel near Gulab Bagh. Though police cracked the case by arresting one person but this another incident has caused serious concerns for both citizens and police.

Previously in a press meeting, S.P. Mahesh Kumar Goyal has requested the citizens to be cautious and advised not to leave any precious items and cash in the car.
