Three cases of theft have been reported from Hiran Magri’s different areas in the past 24 hours. In all the incidents, suspected thieves have targeted different residences and robbed several thousand cash, gold and silver ornaments and other valuables.

First incident was reported from the house of Amar Singh, resident of Sector 5. Singh and his family were out for a few hours. When they returned, they noticed the lock of main door was broken, and on going inside they discovered theft of Rs.5000 cash, few gold and silver ornaments.

In another case, house of Pankaj Vaishnav at Sector 3 was targeted by thieves who stole Rs.1800 cash and few ornaments. Vaishnav family was out of the house at the time of incident.

Third incident of burglary was reported from Sector 11 from the house of Prakash Jain. According to the police, thieves entered in the house and stole Rs.15000 cash, a mobile phone and a camera. The incident occurred after midnight when Jain and his family were fast asleep.
