A theft was reported from a house situated at Mahaveer Colony, Ambamata where the accused stole jewelry, cash and other valuable items.

The incidence of theft had occurred on 17^th April as the owner of the house Amit had gone to Jaipur with his family members and noticed the mishap when he returned on 20^th April and found the gate of the home lying open.

The house was ransacked by the accused thieves who took away 3 gold chains, 4 expensive mobile phones, 4 eye shades, laptop, 8 watches, 9 expensive leather bags and Rs. 14,000 cash. The victim reported the theft to the police with the mention of all stolen items including jewelry worth Lac Rupees, police said.

The case has been registered and the investigation has commenced.
