A theft occurred at a house situated at Eklingpura area of Hiran Magri on Sunday night. The mishap happened at the time when the owner of the house was sleeping in the other room. On Monday, the owner found out about the theft and lodged an FIR against the accused.

Owner of the house Mahesh Vaishnav informed the police on Monday that the accused thieves stole few silver articles, silver coins and Rs. 7,000 cash. The police informed that the window of the other room was broken through which the accused may have entered the house. Also the almirah in the room was left ajar.

The FIR has been lodged and an investigation has been initiated by the police.
