Thieves Target House at Hiran Magri
A house at Hiran Magri Sector 5 was robbed by suspected thieves as the house owner was out of the city for Diwali celebration. The incident was noticed today, when the owner returned home.
A house at Hiran Magri Sector 5 was robbed by suspected thieves as the house owner was out of the city for Diwali celebration. The incident was noticed today, when the owner returned home.
Precious ornaments and cash totaling around Rs. 1.5 lacs were missing from two floors of the house, located at Prabhat Nagar Sector 5.
According to sources, the house is owned by Bhumika Dviwedi, working in Ayad Museum, whereas the ground floor was rented to Mahendra Gupta. Both, Bhumika and Mahendra were out of the city with their families, from past few days.
According to Gupta, a 40” LCD TV worth Rs. 54000, a watch worth Rs. 1500, an artificial jewelry worth in thousands and an ACER laptop were stolen from his house.
In Bhumika’s house, thieves stole Rs. 50000 cash, 8 silver coins, 4 watches, a Nokia mobile phone and a silver statue of lord Ganesha.
Mahendra, who works in a pharma company, went to his native place Sawai Madhopur, with his family and Bhumika’s family was staying at her parental house, while the house was being robbed.
Hiran Magri Police started the investigation.
