Gold ornaments weighing 7 tolas and Rs.70 thousand in cash was stolen from a house at Indraprastha Colony yesterday evening. The complaint was lodged by the house owner Jasoda Devi who is an employee at the Water Works Department.

According to information provided by Jasoda Devi, yesterday when she returned home at 4pm, she saw that her house was ransacked and the back door was lying open. She immediately informed the police about the theft.
