Udaipur police has arrested a man, accused of making threatening call to the authority of Maharana Pratap Airport, Dabok. The accused 50-year-old Ram Bapu was arrested from Raebareli, U.P and brought to Udaipur yesterday.

As per initial interrogation, Ram Bapu told police that, he used to live in Udaipur as his father was working in a cement factory. The family moved back to Raebareli, after the factory shut down.

According to police, Ram Bapu allegedly called airport officials and threatened to stop all Air India flights if the state administration did not release Asaram Bapu from Jail.

Not much has been revealed yet by Ram Bapu as how he is connected to Asaram Bapu and what was his intention. Police has taken the accused on remand till 22nd Sept.
