Three people who were accused of attacking the Estonian couple were arrested on Wednesday by police. Based on the information by sources, police arrested accused identified as Lal Chand (30), Kanti (32) and Nathu (61), informed SP Rajendra Prasad Goyal.

SP added that the couple was targeted by the accused based on suspicion. The due had entered an old lady’s home to have water. The lady got scared and started to shout. Other people of the area immediately rushed to the scene and started pelting stones at them assuming them to be thieves.

The couple from Estonia (North Europe) had come to India 18-20 days back who had visited various places including Delhi, Bikaner, and Jammu and from the last 4 days were staying in Dungarpur.

The condition of the couple is recovering and they are now out of danger, informed SP Goyal.
