Dabok Police arrested three people for murdering Kuldeep Singh alias Munshi. Kuldeep’s body was found lying in Debari area few days back.

Dabok Police informed, “One of the accused Shakti Singh is relative of Kuldeep and was annoyed of his bad habits while another accused Vinod Mali had lend Rs.20,000 to Kuldeep but he hadn’t paid back since long. This common hatred for Kuldeep provoked their plan to kill him.”

Kuldeep was a jobless man and also addicted to drugs. On the day of murder, the accused Shakti Singh, Vinod Mali and Bhagat Singh took Kuldeep Singh to Dabok. After reaching at an isolated place, they first thrashed Kuldeep and then strangled him with a rope. After killing him, the trio crushed his face and fled away.

Vinod Mali is a fruit seller and knows Kuldeep as he used to purchase rotten fruits from him. Soon Vinod started giving money to Kuldeep for purchasing drugs. But Kuldeep was unable to repay the debt, resulting in frequent fights between both of them.

On the other hand, Shakti Singh informed police that, being a relative, Kuldeep used to visit his house and once he tried to molest his wife which enraged him.

During investigation, police detained several people who used to be in close contacts with the deceased.
