A case of theft has been registered against three elder members a community for allegedly stealing the statue and throne of the idol. Interestingly, the accused were grabbed and reported by the people of same community.

The incident occurred today afternoon at temple of Lord Ramdev at Badgaon.

According to sources, the case is motivated due to dispute within the community over a new temple constructed at Dhikli village.

Few residents of the area saw the three men carrying idol and throne from temple; the onlookers quickly gripped the trio and put allegation of theft.

However, the suspected accused said that they were not intending to steal, but were taking the throne to the other temple at Dhikli.

After a series of argument, residents of the area and caretakers of temple informed police and registered case against the accused.
