Three ‘Fake’ policemen arrested
Pratap Nagar police on Tuesday arrested an accused trio who impersonated as policemen and looted cash from people. They were nabbed during an investigation of the report registered by 2 victims who were targeted by the accused few days back.
Pratap Nagar police on Tuesday arrested an accused trio who impersonated as policemen and looted cash from people. They were nabbed during an investigation of the report registered by 2 victims who were targeted by the accused few days back.
The accused were identified as Manish Singh Dodiya and Hitesh Vadvani of Sector 4 along with their aid Tikum Singh of sector 7, Hiran Magri. During the initial interrogation, the accused accepted committing the crime of fooling victims by impersonating as bogus policemen and looting money from them, police informed.
Victims Balram Chopra and Mohammad Aslam of Ayad had registered their reports at Pratap Nagar police station on 27th May and 7th June, respectively. The accused had looted Rs. 8000 and Rs. 3000 cash from them.
The trio is under police interrogation and will be pressurized to retrieve more information about other people involved in this crime.
