Three students were arrested by Hiran Magri police on Tuesday for assaulting the warden of the Nehru Hostel over a minor issue of shifting the rooms.

The accused Shravan Kumar Meena, Swaravan Meena and their friend Mahendra Meena of Pratapgarh were arrested by the cops after the warden of Nehru Hostel- Assistant Prof Raju Singh lodged a complaint against them and their two other friends for assaulting him at the hostel when he asked them to leave the room, said police.

Police further said that post complaint; an investigation was initiated on Tuesday after which the accused were nabbed. The search of the other accused is still on.
