An Estonian tourist couple walking in the remote tribal area of Kanbai (Pahada Police Station) were attacked by few unknown people who pelted stones on them and fled leaving them both injured. The couple were identified as Kutt Eha (42) and her husband Kack Rahur (45).
Both were rushed to Community Health Center of Kherwada and later shifted to Udaipur City for further treatment.
According to the information, Both of them were walking towards Abu Road from Dungerpur. Both Rahur and Eha are nature lovers and chose to walk through the area observing its green habitat. While reaching the area of Kanbai, few people hiding on nearby hills started pelting stones on the couple which caused serious injuries. The reason of the attack is still unknown. The area is known for its tribal belt.
Eha had received severe injuries and was rushed to hospital in unconscious state whereas her husband was also wounded. SHO Ram Swaroop and his team rushed to rescue the victims and started investigation.
During the rescue, the ambulance which was taking both victims broke down and needed a few meters of push. This raised serious concern on how efficient are emergency vehicles when the life of patients are very much dependent on it.
