A case of fraud has been registered against a travel agency of Udaipur by a hotelier for cheating her on the name of booking air tickets, charging fare amounting to more than Rs. 50000 and not delivering it on time.

Victim Vimla Bhandari of Bhopalpura and owner of Hotel Green View lodged a complaint against Khushi Travel agency after she discovered that the agency had cheated her on the name of booking air tickets for her. Vimla wanted to book return tickets from Udaipur to Bangalore, said police.

The victim reportedly paid an amount of Rs. 50745 to Narvas Dangi, an agent of the travel agency and got a receipt of it. As per her schedule she went to Airport on 6^th June, but she didn’t receive her ticket there. Somehow she arranged tickets from some other agency at that moment.

After returning back to Udaipur, she tried to contact the staff of the agency, but they didn’t receive her phone calls. When she went to their office, it was found locked. Finally, the victim lodged a Fir against the agency, said police.
