Trio involved in two-wheeler theft arrested, 12 bikes recovered

The city people can now get relief from parking their vehicles without the fear of them getting stolen as the police on Wednesday successfully arrested a trio accused of stealing 2-wheeled vehicles and recovered dozen motorbikes from their custody.

The city people can now get relief from parking their vehicles without the fear of them getting stolen as the police on Wednesday successfully arrested a trio accused of stealing 2-wheeled vehicles and recovered dozen motorbikes from their custody.

The trio identified as Jagdish alias Bunty of Dabok, Anda alias Ramesh Pala of Lasadia village and Vikram Singh alias Vicky from Mullatalai were arrested on Wednesday by the team of Hathipol police station. The cops received the tip off of their activities and after a follow up for few hours; they nabbed the trio before they could execute yet another crime at Dudhiya Ganesh ji area.

Later during interrogation, the trio accepted picking up 12 motorbikes from various parts of the area including MB Hospital, Bhupalpura and Pratap Nagar. Their houses were raided and police recovered all the 12 stolen bikes, said SP Rajendra Prasad Goyal.

SP Goyal added that the accused Jagdish accepted stealing a home theater and LED TV from a house at Kharol Colony with the help of his aids Shanker Lal Meena, Babu Lal Meena and Happy Mogia.

Police booked all the arrested accused under sections of IPC and are interrogating them further about the syndicate of the two-wheeled theft prevailing in the city for long. On the other hand, the search of the 3 other accused namely Shanker, Babu and Happy involved in theft at Kharol Colony is still on.
