A truck dirver was robbed by few masked men on Udaipur-Ahmedabad Highway. The accused first thrashed him and then fled away looting cash and mobile phone.

The victim truck driver Bharat Singh, resident of Rajsamand informed police that, he was going to Mumbai in his truck carrying marble slab. When he reached near Kaya, few masked men forcefully stopped his truck and started beating him.

The accused took Rs.12000 cash and three mobile phones from Bharat Singh and left him unconscious.

When the driver came to his senses, he rushed to the police station and lodged the complaint.

A team of police has started the investigation and also interrogating suspects who have previous cases of loot and theft registered against them.
