Pratap Nagar Police has seized a truck containing 16 tonnes of Amonium Nitrate and arrested the truck driver for the illegal transportation of such a large amount of chemical which is potentially used in improvised explosive devices.

According to the SHO Surendra Singh, on Thursday night he got an information about the truck heading towards Udaipur containing Amonium Nitrate destined to Kishangarh. Singh immediately formed a team and launched checking at highway. During the inspection, he spotted the suspected truck and found 306 sacks of Amoniun Nitrate

The driver identified as Ramsingh Devda was arrested, Ramsingh informed police that the truck is coming from Pune and going to Kishangarh.
