Udaipur police has arrested a history sheeter and his associate for filing a fake case of shootout against the members of another gang of the city and also to mislead the police.
The accused Bhupendra Rawal shot a bullet in the muscles of one of his hands and with the help of his aide Jagat Paliwal created a story that he was being shot by his rival Bharat Nath in connection with a gang war.
While investigating the matter, the panel of SHOs including Chaggan Purohit, Abdul Rehman, Chandmal along with their team found out that the accused Bharat Nath was at Anand city of Gujarat on the day of incidence. Upon verifying the information police interrogated Jagat Paliwal about the matter during which he broke down and accepted that he along with Bhupendra had created the fake incidence of shootout as a conspiracy against Bharat Nath and his associates so that under trial case of Praveen Paliwal’s murder gets adversely effected, SP said.
On the information of Jagat, accused Bhupendra was arrested by the cops later and the pistol used by him at the time of incidence has been also recovered from his house. Both the accused have been arrested and still under further interrogation.
