Police arrested two people for their alleged involvement in the daylight murder of Praveen Paliwal. The accused, Vijay Nath and Subhash Lohar were appointed to keep an eye on Paliwal’s daily routine, by the main conspirator Naresh Harijan.

The arrests were made by Goverdhan Vilas Police. Although, Vijay and Subhash were not involved directly in the assassination but they provided important information about the victim by continuously following him for many days.

During interrogation, both accused revealed that they were assigned to keep an eye on Paliwal’s routine. Both of them followed Paliwal for many days before his murder on 16^th March.

According to Narpat Singh, SHO, Goverdhan Vilas, “One of the accused Vijay is brother of Bharat Nath, whose car was used in the murder. Police is also investigating Bharat’s role in the crime.”

Till now, Police has arrested three people including Naresh, Sahil and Karan, while Dalpat Singh and Chanchal are still absconding.
