Two people were arrested from Udiapol Bus Stand for carrying firearms. A country made pistol and 9 round pistols with number of live bullets were recovered from the accused.

According to police, acting upon the information about the accused, Surajpol Police Team raided the bus stand and detained both Vishnu Sen alias Mukesh Kumar, resident of Dhabai ji ki Pipli and Gajendra Singh alias Kalu Sardar, resident of Picholi, Rang Niwas.

Vishnu who originally hails from Bharatpur has past cases of dealing in illegal arms. Police is trying to break the nexus active in arms trade in the city and has started interrogating both the accused.

Recently, a minor boy was also arrested for his alleged involvement in the firing incident at Gausia Colony.
