Chandra Prakash Menaria and Kanhiyalal Menaria were reportedly attacked with swords and iron rods by a group of men today at Kanpur, Madri area. A disputed piece of land is known to be the motive behind the attack.

Both the injured have been admitted to MB Hospital and their conditions are stated to be out of danger.

According to the complaint registered by police, there is a piece of land on the name of Chandra Prakash’s Father that was illicitly been taken into possession by Devi Lal and his sons Laxmilal and Kailash Menaria.

Today, Chandra Prakash and Kanhayia Lal Menaria, residents of Kanpur near Jain Temple were called by the alleged attackers, Laxmilal and Kailash Menaria for a final settlement but they were allegedly attacked with swords and iron rods by Laxmi Lal, Kailash, Suresh Dangi, Head Sarpanch of Kanpur and Madan Dangi, Former Head Sarpanch.

Chandra Prakash and Kanhayia Lal Menaria were admitted to the M.B hospital and a complaint has been lodged by police against the alleged attackers.
