Two constables of Rajasthan Police who were arrested in the Sohrabuddin/Tulsi Prajapati Encounter Case were released on bail. Constables Kartar Singh and Dalpat Singh were welcomed on their arrival to Udaipur today.

The duo were arrested during the investigation led by Gujarat Police and since then lodged in Palanpur (Gujarat) Jail as an under trial.

Constables received a grand welcome by friends, colleagues and relatives who congratulated them for their release.

Dalpat Singh said that they respect court’s decision and have faith in the law. During their imprisonment both of them received M.Sc degree and also completed several diploma courses in spirituality and computers.

Kartar Singh, Dalpat Singh and Abdul Rehman of Rajasthan Police were given bail. Besides them, two other officers of Gujarat Police were released on bail. Out of the 5, Kartar Singh and Dalpat Singh were accused in the Tulsiram Prajapati case.
