Dabok Police found the body of a young man lying in an isolated area at Debari. The deceased was later identified as 30-year-old Kuldeep Babel alias Munshi, resident of Ram Singhji ki Bari, sector 11.
Relatives of the deceased have lodged the report of murder. As per police, prima facie it looks murder as the face of the deceased was crushed.
During initial investigation, police found that Kuldeep was a drug addict and last night he went to his aunt’s house for dinner and from there he went to an undisclosed place. Today at around 9am police found his body.
Kuldeep’s father used to have a transport company ‘Kuldeep Transport’ at Sevashram but he died in a road accident 16 years ago.
According to one of the relatives, a man residing nearby is likely to be behind this murder as few days ago, he locked Kuldeep’s house because Kuldeep was not returning the money he owe him.
The relatives also alleged that the suspected man used to give money to Kuldeep for buying drugs. The deceased man is survived by his mother while his sister is married in Mumbai.
Dabok Police Dy.S.P Rashi Dogra reached on the spot and started investigation. The body was shifted to mortuary for postmortem and later handed over to the relatives.
