Udaipur police busted Fake Diesel racket

Udaipur police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a racket that was dealing in manufacturing and selling fake diesel. Around 2,60,000 Liter of kerosene, few chemicals, tractor, truck tanker, fake bill books and seals of a renowned petrochemical company were seized during the raid.

 

Udaipur police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a racket that was dealing in manufacturing and selling fake diesel. Around 2,60,000 Liter of kerosene, few chemicals, tractor, truck tanker, fake bill books and seals of a renowned petrochemical company were seized during the raid.

According to SP Rajendra Prasad Goyal, the cops were getting information from last few days aobut the fake diesel racket operating at a cow shed situated in Sanwad Village, Fateh Nagar. Upon verification, a small team conducted a raid where the racket came out in open where chemicals were mixed with kerosene at the cow shed owned by accused Mangi Lal Teli. However, the prime accused was not to be found at the time of the raid.

During the primary investigation the police learnt that the accused used truck tankers and tractors to transport fake diesel across city under the name of renowned petrochemical company. Moreover, chemicals that were used to convert kerosene into colorless oil and diesel were also found, SP added. The fake bill books of the petrochemical company and its fake stamp seals were later confiscated.
