Udaipur police leaves for Jaipur to arrest unknown caller
The man who allegedly called an Udaipur resident, demanded ransom and threatened him to abduct his son is identified by police. The accused caller is in Jaipur and a team of Udaipur police already left to apprehend the caller.
The man who allegedly called an Udaipur resident, demanded ransom and threatened him to abduct his son is identified by police. The accused caller is in Jaipur and a team of Udaipur police already left to apprehend the caller.
According to Radmal Singh, SHO Pratap Nagar Police Station, “The incident came to light on Sunday when Vipin Kumawat, resident of Pratap Nagar received call from an unknown number. The caller allegedly threatened Vipin to kidnap his son.”
At first Vipin ignored the call but when the accused called again, Vipin rushed to Police station and lodged complaint against the accused.
“Upon initial investigation, the caller’s location was identified by police, the accused was calling from Jaipur,” said Dy S.P Goverdhanlal.
The unidentified caller was contacted through police officials where he denied giving threat but accepted that he dialed wrong number.
“Things will be clearer after we arrest the accused,” said Dy.S.P
