Udaipur police has recovered 11 stolen motorcycles from two people arrested yesterday, for committing the crime in different areas of Udaipur and nearby places, including Jhadol and Nimbaheda.

Udaipur police has recovered 11 stolen motorcycles from two people arrested yesterday, for committing the crime in different areas of Udaipur and nearby places, including Jhadol and Nimbaheda.

Police has presented both Khushnoor and Yaseen before court to get remand, till the time of writing this news orders were not released from the court.

However, during the initial interrogation, Hathipol Police has received much detailed information regarding the stealing tactics used by the duo and other people, allegedly, involved in executing the stealing and later selling of motorbikes.

According to the police, most of the stealing was done by unlocking bikes using master keys, and then fake registration certificate and number plates were made to revamp the identification.

Finally, bikes were handed over to ‘agents’ who find out individuals who wishes to buy.

Few people from Jhadol are allegedly involved in the crime. “We are soon going to carry out arrest of few people from Jhadol who are involved in making fake RC and selling these motorcycles to nearby villagers”, said Goverdhan Lal Khatik, C. I. Hathipol.

Two people are identified as Jeetu and Shankar, both from Jhadol, who used to sell stolen motorcycle on commission basis.

Goverdhan Lal told UT, “more arrests are on the way and we also expect more motorcycles to be recovered from them”.

The stealing was executed mainly in Udaipur (Sukher, Ambamata, Surajpol, Hathipol), Jhadol and Nimbaheda.

Presently, Khushnoor and Yasin confessed of stealing 2 bikes from Kaneda (Nimbaheda), 7 from Jhadol, 2 from Hathipol and 1 from Sukher.
