318 Accused Arrested in District Wide Raid by Udaipur Police on December 6
This operation, part of the Udaipur Police Area Dominance project was undertaken with the help of more than 425 police personnel
Udaipur, Dec 07, 2025: A total of 318 accused and/or history sheeters were arrested by the Udaipur Police in a comprehensive district wide raid conducted on December 6.
This operation, launched by the Udaipur Police, was organised to arrest anti-social elements to establish area dominance. The operation involved more than 425 police personnel, who were grouped in 103 teams and raided 725 locations across the district simultaneously.
Thos arrested in this operation included 13 wanted criminals, 34 permanent/warranted offenders and 11 arrests in general. 247 were arrested under preventive measures. These people have been involved in various crimes in the past, including those under the Arms Act, NDPS Act, Excise Act, murder and attempted murder, robbery and dacoity. Under the Local Minor Ac, 20 cases were registered, 13 accused were arrested. 11 cases were registered under the Excise Act, 1 case under the NDPS Act, 4 under the Arms Act and 4 registered under the other acts.
The homes of 56 history-sheeters were raided and interrogations with the accused and/or family members were undertaken.
